Venue Hire
Public toilets are cleaned and serviced daily by the Shire at Cable Beach, Town Beach, Male Oval and Gantheaume Point.
There are a range of venue choices managed by the Shire of Broome, and available for hire.
The Shire will consider a 50% reduction on all charges (excluding deposit and key bond) to non-profit organisations upon application. The application will be referred to the Chief Executive Officer and each application will be judged on its merit.
There are a number of regulatory requirements to hold an event on Shire venues, including occasional liquor licences. Contact the Shire Event Coordinator for further information on 9191 3456.
For any event on public space, including weddings, concerts, private functions or sporting carnivals an event permit is required. Copies of application forms are available from www.broome.wa.gov.au.

Broome Recreation and Aquatic Centre
Cable Beach Road, Broome.
In addition to its sporting and leisure facilities, Broome Recreation and Aquatic Centre has facilities to host special events, performances and exhibitions. The 1504 square metre indoor stadium is used annually for the North West Expo and Worn Art performances.
In addition to the stadium, the centre has an 85 square metre air-conditioned multi-purpose room, toilets/changerooms, food outlets and bar facilities. Use of this venue for special events, performances and exhibitions is subject to certain conditions and availability. It is a condition of use that the stadium floor be protected with carpet if any type of staging, props or seating is to be used.

Town Beach, Lions Pioneer Park
Robinson Street, Broome.
The Town Beach park complex provides an excellent venue for outdoor events. The Staircase Markets take place on the full moon and various festivals and events are held here annually. In 2010 the Shire of Broome upgraded on-site power to assist events at Town Beach.
Cable Beach Amphitheatre
Cable Beach Road, Broome.
The Cable Beach Amphitheatre offers views of Cable Beach and enough space to accommodate full stage production equipment, marquees and grassed seating.
Male Oval
Cnr Broome Road and Napier Terrace, Broome.
Male Oval is used for festivals and multicultural activities. Annual levies are charged to sporting organisations based on the particular sport.
